Suspended shaped clear Lucite prism, bronze, reflected light

39in. h x 35in. w x 20in.d

Using heat to soften the material for several hours enabled me to curve Lucite in my hands. I discovered that the form altered the shape of the refracted spectrum.

Bending the spectrum was influenced by the shape of the prism.

Luminary has been widely exhibited and presented to public art committees considering transporting light as a theme for a commissioned installation. (see Waves and The Music of Light)
